• Weaned in protest in Venice - Ron Ridenour

Dear brothers, sisters and fellow revolutionaries,

I have come into this world of internet to see what my former compatriots are up to and see this incredible world of action, of revolt, which has finally begun again in the US, and which is also nostalgia for me while I am in Denmark, also protesting the insanities of capitalism-imperialism. I write primarily to let you all know you are appreciated by many many, and this old veteran of wars against the US state. I got weaned in protest in Venice four decades ago. I was with the Venice West Cafe, the Du Bois Club, Free Venice anti-Vietnam war, etc., all the way back in 1960.

We kicked ass and I am so glad to see others taking up the challenge-the fight-the moral courage.
I left the US in 1980, lived in and worked for the Cuban revolution for eight years, one year with the Sandinistas, oh, and it goes on. Now I am in Denmark and write, teach, hold talks about the US Global Strategy, the wars, racism...............

I am glad you are alive and kicking.
keep on truckín,

Love Ron Ridenour
