DEAR BEACHHEAD NEW
GENERATIONERS:
May a public voice of
poem be manifested in all manners, evolutions, here,
always.
May the little public prayer
submitted for Septembre 2002 and other such reminders, help to keep priorities
of wishing well, in all projects.
This
“letter” is from an old “granny”, one of the founders of
FREEVENICE THE BEACHHEAD.
You have @ 36
papers of copies of information of recent and older years submitted in
time.
Now here B/W copies of the entire
1977 BEACHHEAD to draw upon… and other filler pages, plus copies of 3 of
fliers I did for the 5 events I did for the 20th anniversary of the BEACHHEAD in
1988, along with the page for the papers 20th anniversary issue, that I did, for
the Decembre 1988.
And you have copies
of 3 fliers I did for 7 of my Venice Historical Community Video tapes. 2 were
for the BEACHHEAD’s 20th anniversary with as many of the various
collectives, still in this world I could gather in 1996, knowing Rick Davidson
would soon leave this world, founder of Peace & Freedom Party. Free Venice,
The FREE VENICE BEACHHEAD and many cultural and civil rights organizations and
work, here.
The 3 tapes (2 B/W, 1
Colour) have had copies donated to Lucille our librarian and can be ARRANGED to
be seen at the library: 821-1769: NO copying in any form of the videos or
graphics of them may occur at all.
The
totality of horrendous “development” is war zone life and
pollutions, all our taxes at work have it all set to inundate all life…
Actually. The shreds of “wildlife” here are nearly gone. The
poverty of the mass of people here, everywhere, is due to the like of “our
taxes at work.” The powers that be do not live or work with perceptions
of “big pictures”… They keep everything to one comment on
one aspect at a time; and adore
reactionism…
Once again: The
personal is the political
Be well, new ones

P.S. Carol Fondiller is a
worldwide treasure. She has perspective, humour, wit, and writing! Her
commitment to community expression, needs, cultural essences is a gift to
everyone….

free
spirit of
Venice
Hello,
I
just had a nice look at your website and organization. I think that its great
what you are doing. I think that the free spirit of Venice and the world depends
on people like yourselves.
One of my
interests in Venice has been to preserve the right of the Venice Beach
Drumcircle to continue to drum on weekends. There was a strong opposition
mounting from a group of people who wanted to gentrify the beach. I helped
oppose them in my way with my website which is devoted to our documentary
film about the Venice Beach Boardwalk and the Drumcircle.
The Guestbook has many thoughts from
people all over the world about Venice issues and some world peace issues. I
would like to invite you to comment in our Guestbook which is shared with the
Venicebeachdrumcircle.com website. You could also invite people to visit
your website if you like. If you'd like to make a link to our site that would be
nice too. My website is at:

Please
keep up your good
work.

BRAVO
BEACHHEAD!
DREAMS DO COME TRUE
-- and MIRACLES and MAGIC too! Carol’s back on page ONE -- where she
belongs! (The PEN IS more powerful than the PEN IS, Carol.) Our fine friend,
Mary Getlein sent me issues 1 & 2. “THANK YOU”, “THANK
YOU”, Mary! And “THANK YOU”, Dewey -- “I love you,
man!” Where have ALL the other ‘GOOD GUYS’ gone? (Those who
are NOT in heaven -- that is.) May this ‘Love Letter’
reach:
My Dearest Family -- of
Friends,
“The TRIP” never

Tho’ those
‘cross-country junkets’ are
over!
So, Blow me a
Kiss!
And Promise me
this:
You’ll find me, when you
come to Florida...
Love,
Tina Catalina
