The Oakwood Basketball Clinic Youth
The Oakwood Basketball Clinic youth celebrate
receiving new basketball sneakers from a corporate donor.
The event was also co-sponsored by Venice
2000/HELPER to encourage at risk youth in the Oakwood area to develop positive
self-esteem, physical conditioning, good sportsmanship and citizenship while
promoting educational excellence.
The
Oakwood Basketball Clinic trains from 10-Noon on Saturdays at the Venice Boys
and Girls Club. Parents include Lise Smith, Cynthia Jackson, Byron and Estella
Jones and Lou Boyland.
